iOS 13, iPadOS Release Date Revealed by Apple at iPhone 11 Launch Event

iOS 13 release date has been revealed, as expected, at the iPhone 11 launch event in Cupertino, California. Alongside, Apple has also announced when iPadOS will be released. Unfortunately, the release date of macOS 10.15 Catalina has not yet been detailed. To recall, all three operating systems, for mobiles and tablets, and PCs respectively, were first unveiled at WWDC 2019 back in June, and since then, the company has released public betas of iOS 13, iPadOS, and macOS 10.15 Catalina so that users can try them before taking the plunge come general availability. iOS 13 release date, eligible devices
iOS 13 will be released on September 19, and users will be able to download the operating system update globally from that day itself. Eligible devices for iOS 13 are the iPhone XS₹ 97,400, iPhone XS Max₹ 108,049, iPhone XR₹ 58,490, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and the iPod touch (7th generation). iPadOS release date, eligible devices
iPadOS will be released on September 30, and just as with iOS 13, iPadOS will be made available for download globally on the day. Eligible devices for iPadOS are the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 11-inch iPad Pro, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad (6th generation), iPad (5th generation), iPad mini (5th generation), iPad mini 4, iPad Air (3rd generation), and iPad Air 2. Facebook, Twitter not invited to White House social media summit: Report

Facebook and Twitter have apparently not been invited by the White House to a social media summit hosted by President Donald Trump for a robust conversation on the challenges of the online environment, according to a media report. The summit, set for Thursday, is to address issues relevant to social media, all the more important as Trump utilizes the platforms like no other president before him.
The two prominent social media companies were not extended invitations, CNN was quoted the sources familiar with the matter as saying. The people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, suggested it was not surprising. They said they believe the summit would amount to a right-wing grievance session and was not aimed at seriously discussing some of the issues facing large technology companies, the report added. The White House, however, refused to comment, the report said.
A Social Media Summit without representation from the giants like Facebook and Twitter cannot be thought of but President Trump has frequently blasted them for not respecting Republicans views on their platforms. The White House announced the summit in June, describing it as an event to bring together “digital leaders for a robust conversation on the opportunities and challenges of today’s online environment.”
The White House has not made public the various companies that will be attending Thursday’s event. In his last meeting with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Trump reportedly questioned the former specifically on why he was losing followers the microblogging platform. The White House recently launched a new tool for people to report if they have been wrongly censored, banned or suspended on Facebook and Twitter.
The tool comes in the wake of several Republicans slamming Facebook and Twitter for censoring conservative speech on both the platforms. A Twitter spokesperson responded to the tool: “We enforce the Twitter Rules impartially for all users, regardless of their background or political affiliation. We are constantly working to improve our systems and will continue to be transparent in our efforts.”
Led by Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who is the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s panel that ripped apart Facebook and Twitter over concerns of bias against conservatives in April this year. Cruz has often alleged that Silicon Valley giants were biased against conservatives and routinely censor right-wing voices.
Trump in a March tweet accused Facebook, Google and Twitter of being “on the side of the Radical Left Democrats”. “Social media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen,” Trump said last year. “They are closing down the opinions of many people on the right, while at the same time doing nothing to others,” he added.
Realme C1 Android Pie-Based ColorOS 6 Stable Update Now Rolling Out in India

Realme has rolled out Android Pie update for a host of smartphones in the past couple of months. The latest phone to experience the Android Pie upgrade is the Realme C1. The entry-level phone has started receiving the ColorOS 6 update based on Android Pie in India. The update brings a tonne of changes such as the arrival of navigation gestures, riding mode, and an updated default theme among others. Additionally, the Realme C1 update also brings the June Android security patch and the app drawer as well.
The release of Realme C1₹ 7,911's latest update carrying ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie was spottedon the Realme forum. We got in touch in with the company for clarification and received confirmation that the Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 update's rollout for the Realme C1 has officially commenced in India and will soon reach all users. As per the details posted by a user on the Realme India forums, the ColorOS 6 update for the Realme C1 is 1.99GB in size. The changelog shows that the update also upgrades the phone's Android security patch to June level aside from bringing a host of major UI changes.
As for the arrival of new features, ColorOS 6 adds notification icons to the status bar and also brings support for navigation gestures. The app drawer also makes its way to the Realme C1 with the latest update, and it has been implemented in the form of an ‘arrow up' button on the home screen. To recall, the Realme C1 began receiving the Android Pie beta update in India late last month.
ColorOS 6 also brings Riding Mode to the Realme C1, allowing users to mute notifications while driving and revert to an incoming call with an automatic reply to keep away distractions. The Realme Theme Store has been added in the form of a standalone app and the design of the notifications shade has also been changed, thanks to redesigned icons.
